Overview

The built-in weather feature gives guests a 5-day forecast for your location. It has two parts: a Weather Section (the full forecast page) and a Weather Widget (the tile on your homepage). Create the Section first.

Step 1 – Create the Weather Section


1. Go to Content Management > Sections

2. Click + Add New Section at the top

3. Enter an Internal Name – this is only seen by your team

4. Choose an Icon for the Side Menu

5. Enter the Section Name guests will see – for example, Weather

6. Set the Type to Custom Content

7. Set Is Visible to Yes

8. Scroll to the bottom and turn on Weather under Information Modules

9. Click Save

The Weather Section now appears in the Side Menu of your Draft version.

Step 2 – Add the Weather Widget


1. Go to Content Management > Homepage

2. Scroll down to Widgets and click + Add New Widget

3. Enter an Internal Name

4. Choose Weather as the Widget Type and click Save

5. Find the new Widget in the list and set Is Visible to Yes

6. Click Save at the top
