Learn how to add or change some Predefined Messages for iRiS Guest.


Predefined Messages can be applied to your Order Status updates for an Outlets, so that you can speed up your operations with auto responses. You can also add a personalised touch to the Checkout process for your guests with Tokens. To start:

  1. Navigate to your Property in GXP, and go to Content Management > Static Content
  2. Click on + Add Static Content
  3. In the dropdown choose Predefined Messages
  4. Enter your text and click on Save.

There are 4 Order Status's supported in iRiS Guest and they are:


  • Acknowledged
  • Delivering
  • Completed
  • Cancelled


The Predefined Messages created can then be paired to your Outlet in Setup > Outlet SettingsTo personalise your existing Predefined Messages with tokens, for example including the guest name in the response, you can do the following:


  1. Navigate to your Property in GXP, and go to Content Management > Static Content
  2. In the Filter By+ box click on Predefined Messages
  3. Click to open your chosen message you want to edit.
  4. In the new window that's opened click on the large T and choose from one of the following tokens that are supported in iRiS Guest
  • {prefix} - Title
  • {title} - Title
  • {lastName} - Last Name
  • {name} - First Name Last Name
  • {guestName} - Title First Name Last Name
  • {roomNumber} - Room Number

When you update your guest with a Predefined Message on the Order, below is what this will look like on iRiS Guest.



You should now be able to create Predefined Messages for your Order Status updates in the Guest Centres.
